LIFE IN THE SPIRIT SEMINAR FOR MAJOR SEMINARIANS

In February 2025, Charis Uganda conducted a Life in the Spirit event for the major seminarians and their formators at St. Mary's National Major Seminary in Gaba. This was a wonderful opportunity to minister to and commission these seminarians. (See first three photos below).

PASTORAL VISIT TO SOUTH SUDAN

The Charismatic Renewal in South Sudan is still in its early stages and requires assistance and encouragement. Therefore, from August 2 to 7, we visited to provide our support. We met with the Bishop of Wau, who warmly welcomed us and expressed his gratitude for our visit. He is eager to see the CCR grow and firmly establish itself in his diocese. (See middle two photos below).

CHARIS EASTERN AFRICA REGIONAL MEETING.

From August 9 to 12, we held our first meeting with members from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Ethiopia (with apologies from South Sudan). The meeting took place at the retreat centre of the Apostles for Jesus in Arusha-Tanzania. It was a wonderful chance to pray together and get acquainted, with the aim of seeking guidance on how to strengthen CCR in the region. (See last photo below).
